Make Money with AI

Real, honest ways people are earning with AI right now — using mostly free tools. No “get rich quick.” Each one takes consistent work for 60–90 days before it pays.

1. Build a niche content site or newsletter

Pick a narrow topic you know. Use AI to draft, then add your own experience, photos and opinions. Earn through affiliate links and, later, sponsors. Free tools: ChatGPT or Claude (free plans), Canva, Beehiiv (free plan).

2. Recurring affiliate income from AI tool tutorials

Many AI software companies pay 20–40% of every monthly payment. Screen-record short “how I did X in 5 minutes” videos and link the tool. Free tools: OBS Studio, CapCut.

3. Set up AI chatbots and automations for local businesses

Build one useful system — like “missed call → text back → book appointment” — then demo it in person to plumbers, salons or auto shops. Charge a setup fee plus a monthly fee. Free tools: n8n (self-hosted), free chatbot builders.

4. Fix Google Business Profiles and websites

Use AI to write service pages, descriptions and review replies for small businesses. Offer a flat-price tune-up.

5. “AI setup” help for older adults and small offices

1-hour sessions: set up their phone, show them how to use an AI assistant, clean up their computer. Advertise in local Facebook groups and Nextdoor.

6. Sell digital products from real experience

Guides, checklists and templates based on what you actually know sell far better than generic “prompt packs.” Sell on Payhip or Gumroad (free plans).

7. A YouTube channel that teaches something real

YouTube stopped paying for repetitive, mass-produced AI videos in July 2026. Screen-recorded tutorials and walkthroughs in your own voice still do well — and you can earn from affiliate links long before YouTube pays you.

8. AI product photos and short ads for small online shops

Turn plain product photos into lifestyle images and 15-second ads, send 3 free samples, then offer a monthly package.

What to skip

  • “Make money with AI” courses that promise fast income
  • Mass-produced AI videos (demonetized)
  • Reselling generic prompt packs or templates
